Teal Goal Limited is hiring a Product Manager – Electrical & Lighting based in Hong Kong or Shanghai (China).
This role is for someone who combines strong commercial judgement with hands-on product management and sourcing experience. You will help shape assortments that work in the European DIY market, build strong supplier partnerships, and drive topics from early opportunity spotting through to launch and ongoing range performance.
You will work closely with Category Management and cross-functional teams (for example Quality team, Logistics, and Sustainability) and you will be involved in supplier visits and buying trips.
What we are looking for
We welcome applicants who combine practical category ownership with strong communication and an ability to get things done across teams and time zones.
Key requirements include:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, sourcing, procurement, or category management
- Strong know-how of DIY products and a good understanding of the European market
- Solid expertise across relevant product groups (lighting, electrical installation, cables and accessories, batteries and torches, fans, air conditioners and heaters)
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of building supplier relationships (including factory visits)
- Confident communication and presentation skills in English (Chinese is a plus)
- Familiarity with EU test standards and product compliance, plus a good understanding of factory operations
