BAUHAUS and Teal Goal acknowledge the shared responsibility of businesses to advance sustainable and secure supply chains worldwide. BAUHAUS’s new minimum supply chain partners requirements, which are applicable globally, are introduced below.
Our Sustainability and Supply Chain Risk Management Teams will prioritise implementing the new requirements (European Union Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), CBAM, etc.) and will be ready to answer questions.
We expect our supply chain partners’ active participation to achieve these goals together.
Our Sustainability and Supply Chain Risk Management Teams will review each supplier and in case, more information is needed, we will contact you. However, please assess the following requirements according to our policy:
- All our business partners must acknowledge and agree that the production of products and the sustainable development of their operations and supply chains comply with the Teal Goal Code of Conduct for business partners. The latest version is available at www.tealgoal.ltd.
Starting January 2026, all new business partners/producers need to have a valid audit/certificate before the 1st order is placed. (This includes low and medium-risk countries). We do accept the following audits:
- Amfori BSCI; SA 8000; Win=Win Fairstone (for natural stone)
- Starting 2026, all existing business partners/producers need to have valid amfori BSCI with an overall grade A, B or C (must deliver CAP – corrective action plan) . Any other audits will not be accepted by the end of 2024.
- SA8000 certificates are only accepted, if supply chain partner already has received this certificate and only to cover the initial/first order.
In future, Teal Goal will prioritise partnerships, that demonstrate these shared values and visions of a sustainable future and continuously work to achieve the goals set.
